Sour Blonde Ale Aged in Chardonnay Barrels with Montmorency Cherries
Representative of its namesake, Amarelle’s coy appearance hints at what truly lies within. Delicate aromas of bright stone fruit and subtle Chardonnay further reveal its unique character. Pulled from select French oak white wine barrels, our sour blonde ale ranging from 12 to 24 months in barrel was then refermented with Montmorency cherries. The resulting beer presents as a surprisingly tart, cherry ale with just the right amount of funk.
